Its has been an exciting match. Both sides want to take the converted world cup trophy back to their countries. Its been an very interesting and a "violent"match. Both sides refused to compromise, fight for the procession of the ball, non stop. A single mistake may prove fatal to the team...

Italy won!!! 2006 world cup champions belongs to Italy!! Italy players are cheering, while France look on in despair... Barthaz, (France keeper) is sitting down by the goal post... with a look of disbelieve in his eyes...
During the match, especially the second half, it is clearly that the France are in control. They came close to scoring a few times. Italy gave away the ball as soon as they are in procession. I would say that France deserves to win. But as the ball is round, anything can happen.
The most shocking part of the match is when Zidane(France) headbutted an Italy player in the chest. There goes him, off the pitch (red card). As the commentor mentioned, its the end of a pestigious career.
World cup fever has ended. In Singapore, its the end of the world cup pandemic, and back to worrying about the dengue virus and the H5N1 bird flu virus.
