Seems that the canteen at the building where i am working is getting busier and busier. More and more people are coming to that canteen for lunch, tea-break and even breakfast...
There's not much stalls selling food, the food is average (maybe i am gotten sian of eating there for 3 1/2 years), and the sitting is quite limited. In contrast, there's another canteen just 5 minutes walk away, and it got lots stall, a greater variety of food, and the sitting capacity is more (even then, finding a seat over there during lunch time involveds a sharp eye, fast reflex, and a fast running speed).
Okie, enough of that. What makes me wonder at the Singaporeans eating habits is that, they always queue at the stall with the longest queue. One has this mindset that the longest queue has the best food. So, with this in mind, next time when i open a food stall, i shall take my own sweet time to serve the customers, thus this will generate more revenue.
Another thing. Either Singaporeans, especially the more educated ones, are surprisingly the ones that does not know the difference between Muslims and non-Muslims, or they don't know how to read, or they simply don't care.
I mean, what's the difference between Muslim food (halal food) and non Muslims (non-halal food)?
I am sure that most Singaporeans know, being living in a multi racial society. But how come i see lots of chinese stall plates on the muslim trays on the plates return corner? This is not temperory, i see this problem everyday. Plates stack on top of each other. Chinese, Muslims, and even plastic cups which are meant to be disposed of?
What's the darn thing wrong with them?? Does they know how to read? If they dun care, then why bother return the plates in the first place? If you have to do, you have to do sui sui, if not, better don't do.
Well, it takes 2 hands to clap, 4 persons to play mahjong and a stadium full of ppl to cheer for world cup match, so, please play your part in these kind of problems.
Well, i returned my plate to the Muslim tray at the plates returning corner today at half time... opps..., i mean lunch time. Before you start cursing at me, i like to inform you that i had Nasir Lemak for lunch, bought from the Muslim stall.
