Another bo liao post

Nothing eventful, except for swine flu, which i will write in a seperate post sometime later...

Been going to work, go home, duties, IPT. Nothing much to write about also...

During last IPT, during the running session, the third round, i came back hyperventilating, and feeling giddy. PTI saw me and called the medic, and both ask if i am okie, want to fall out.

My reply was that i rest a bit till feeling better, then continue the run.

PTI response was that i should rest, since i was not feeling well.

My reply was that i know my own condition, and when during the run, i will know when to stop when i cannot take it.

Adding this last sentence which make everyone laugh... "Dun worry, i am only a corporal, not a warrent officer, so, wun die one."

Yep... to those who dun know what's the joke about, well, go read up last few weeks news.

Some photos for you all to enjoy...

Hot weather nowadays, with the exception of a few days...

Dun think so much hor...

Just a random photo... If you can see something special, then good for you...

RTA...

Tata, that's all, folks!! Pray that Swine flu virus dies soon!!

Temasek Poly Week zero Jam & Hop

Nah... not going to talk about the jam and hop.

But it's during that duration that me and TC came up with shit.

POS - Piece of Shit (by R)
FOS - Full of Shit
NBS - Nothing but Shit
WTS - Worst than Shit
NUS - ( you think about it yourself )

Dun whack me up hor... :P

Temasek Poly Regatta 2009

Just completed a 13 hour duty yesterday at Temasek Polytechnic.

Weather was darn hot, and i think we created a dramatic show to the freshmen. A very dramatic show indeed. And i think it's indeed an eye catcher for some, if not most of the freshmen.

Some photos that i had taken...

Yesterday, i had came to a conclusion.

Barney, your ever friendly dinosour, had met with an horrible accident, and was horrified dis-coloured.

Agree with me on the above statement??

And there's this love-camwhoreing-moth that keeps flying in, landing on my bag, looking at me, begging me to take photos of it.

So i complied to that moth's cam-whoring request...

Now you know why i call it a cam-whoring moth??

Looking at the crowd, i suddenly felt like i am not in Singapore... I felt i was being sucked into a time warp machine and was desposited into the soils of Thailand a few months back...

I was looking at this scene when i got that feeling...

Man!!! Thailand yellow shirt protesters!!!

Other snap shots of the duty...

Yep... nice scenery...

Photoblog

I know there's so much things to write about recently in Singapore... The food poisoning cases from the indian rojak stall at geylang, that cause 2 deaths and a miscarriage, the other food poisoning case at the steamboat restaurant at Geylang (hmmm.... geylang again... it seems that geylang ain't that "clean").

Another incident of an accident involving a tour bus and a public bus, that results in 32 casualties... In fact, including that news, there are a total of 3 RTA involving buses, the other 2 being i pass by. The last one was this morning, when i was on my way to work.

Other ppl might be writing heaven and hell about these hot "topics", and i am going to be different. I heard too many rumors, gossips, "facts" all those bullshit that can make me sleep in a moment, that i ain't going to post it here.

So, something else... i am going to post some photos which i had taken for the past few weeks.

Enjoy!!

yep... hope will blog more!!

Stay tuned!!

Seen On Forbes magazine

A few sayings that came from one of the famous magazine, one that only the business and the wealthy will read, "FORBES"... And the sayings were about the same thing, something which you would not expect in a magazine which always list the top 100 world riches person, or top 100 most powerful person, etc.

1) One thing that previous practice doesn't always make perfect: MARRIAGE (MALCOLM S. FORBES)

2) A girl must marry for love, and keep on marrying until she finds it. (ZSA ZSA GABOR)

3) By taking a second wife he pays the highest compliment to the first, by shewing that she made him so happy as a married man, that he wishes to be so a second time. (SAMUEL JOHNSON)

4) Love, the quest; marriage, the conquest; divorce, the inquest (HELEN ROWLAND)

5) Women hope men will change after marriage but they don't; men hope women won't change but they do. ( BETTINA ARENDT)

6) It takes two to make a marriage a success and onely one a failure. ( HERBERT SAMUEL)

7) Marriage is a wonderful institution, but who wants to live in a institution? (GROUCHO MARX)

8) The room was filled with people who hadn't talk to each other in years, including the bride and groom (DOROTHY PARKER)

Marriage!!

NUS boulderactive 2009

Okie... next, after the NTU duty, comes the NUS duty...

NUS boulderactive 2009.

The supporters...

And indeed, bouldering is tough. People would try all kind to get to their goal... Most commonly is they climb upwards...

I mean, that what everyone does, rite??

But no.... some can go upwards sideways...

Like this...

But, be it they go up upwards, or sidewards, we did this...

and this...

And we were bored...

And because it rained for the first 2 days, in order to let NUS run their show more effectively without any disruptions, we did this...

NO SINGING FOR SOMEONE!!!!

NTU Bike Rally 09

Either i am getting too lazy, or too busy, to blog, that is...

Or a combination of both... So much back-dated issues to write about... That's why i can never be a writer...

Okie... after my 2 weeks in camp, came out and straight went to a duty super early the next day. NTU bike rally. Round island 128km riding.

Nah... I ain't that fit... I was driving islandwide. Haha...

Here's the photos.

Gathering at HQ...
Dun ask me what they are looking at... leave it to your imagination...

Tried a couple of potrait shots...
All the more reasons for me to get a better lens... :(

Early morning at the starting point...

One of the resting point, which is at NTU...

At another resting point... Kranji dam...

where we met someone familiar...

and where ppl start seeking some first aid attention...

And time to set off... MAN!! THE WEATHER WAS DARN HOT!!

Another resting point at Yishun stadium...

And not forgetting our pretty liaison for the ambulance...

And then suddenly, it rained...

Heavily...

ANd it flooded...

After the rain, we just hang around at the finishing point.

All the way...

Until at last, i see another familiar face...

The SJ ppl who went for the duty...

With another first aider from NTU...

And slowly but surely, the skies turn dark...

the rally's committee member began the hard task of keeping all the bikes... It's ain't easy...

And while they work, we eat.. :P

And i got the first prize in the "lucky draw". A crossed cheque not to my name... :(

So sad... Haiz~~

Finally, before we set off back to HQ, group photo.

Yep.. it's the end of a super long day... And i was super tired, having just finish my in camp the day before.

And with the next duty coming up somemore. I shall blog about it in my next post, with photos. Stay tuned!!
