Stricter bus service standards to be imposed: PTC

"Buses will now have to arrive every 10 minutes, at least during weekday peak hours, 80% of the time."
So, if you miss a bus, you have just got to wait 10 minutes for the next one! But you have to wait 2 years for that 10 minute wait.
"That is why this revised standard will be phased in two years from now."
THE BAD NEWS
"Meanwhile, ahead of the August 1 deadline for annual fare increase submissions to PTC, SMRT has confirmed that it will be asking for a small increase. "
