Holiday

Today, 2nd July marks a holiday for almost half the population in Singapore.

School children and uniformed folks.

Today is the holiday for Youth day, and SAF (Singapore Armed Forces) day. And it's a holiday for the primary, secondary, JC students, as well as those in NS (National Service), regular men and women in the Singapore Armed Forces.

Morever, it's 40 years of NS in Singapore. As the website puts it, NSmen commemorate 40 years of National Service on July 1st

The sad thing is that i don't have a holiday today, even though i am a NSmen.
