Trip to Malaysia, KL

Went to KL (Malaysia) for a business trip. It was my first trip into the captial of Malaysia, KL. Left Singapore when the skies are still dark and arrived back in Singapore in the darkness.

I always liked to go to Malaysia in the mornings, where you can always see the hills covered with fog, or rather, low lying clouds...

It was a very pretty scene, though it does not turn out to be very nice on a camera...

For this trip, i was smarter than my pervious business trip to Selangor... Once we passed the Malaysia Customs at the Second link, I went to sleep.

Those who had been to the North-South highway would know that most of the time, you would only see trees and plantations along the way.

Before i closed my eyes, i saw these....

And after a nap an hour later, i woke up and saw these...
Yep... Trees and more trees...

The country side looks very peaceful.

Over at Melaka, we stopped to have some rest, to grab a bite and drink and to release the liquid in our bladders, which had been building up...

Looks like a mini shopping center.

I went out of the car to grab a first breath of the fresh morning country air.

Yes. The air is definity different. It's cool, fresh and unpolluted. I stood there, like an idiot, just enjoying breathing the air. And in a way, it can refresh you up.

And after doing all what has to be done, we continued on our way. And yes, i fell asleep again...

And i woke up to see these....

Yes, we are at the outskirts of KL. I became more excited to see the inside of KL.

KL Tower...
Twins tower..

The commerical center...

Somehow, i feel at home in KL. It's just like the Orchard Road, Shenton Way in Singapore...

We went over to the Hakka Restaurant (near Wisma Cosway) to have our 3 hour lunch.

The carpark there is quite funny. There's a sign posted sideways, that says the management will clamp any vehicle that is parked there from 3 pm - 6pm... ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Hmmm.... what happens if we want to have dinner there at 5pm?? Where do we go park our vehicle?

After lunch, it's time to talk about business...

And we left KL during the evening peak hour, and i experienced first hand about the peak hour traffic in KL. Not a very nice experience though.

The traffic lights are usless. You don't look at the traffic lights during the peak hour. You look at a policeman directing the traffic, and at a junction, you can easily wait up to 10 minutes just for the police to wave you on.

Nothing to do, i took out my camera to lazily snap pictures of the people making their way back home after a hard day's work.

How i envy them. They should be reaching home in about 30 minutes time, and I got a 4 hour drive to reach back Singapore.

And as we are "strolling" in the car, i managed to snap the evening sunset... Not a nice picture too...

.... A car happens to pass by as i press the button...

And so, as we proceed South, i slept again.

Reached back Singapore at about 11pm. And i was not so tired as compared to my last Malaysia Trip.

Throughout the trip, i received 5 missed calls from my friends, who does not know i went overseas. They must have called me, and upon hearing the "overseas" ringtone, and hang up immediately.

Go to Stomp website, and you will see lots of people (whiners) complaining about drivings who anyhow park, speed, or just doing something funny, you should go to KL to have a look.

Yes, you will see numerous cars parking on the PAVEMENT, motorcylists riding on the PAVEMENT, and in the picture above, (its not clear), you will see cars parking in such a way that is only inches away from the cars in front, behind, left and right.

WOW!!! Interesting!!
