This is what red bloods cells look like when viewed under 400x magnification using a normal Lab microscope.
You wanna see a larger magnification of it? The picture belows is the 1,000x magnification of the red blood cells.
Looks neat. Wondering why you cannot find the white blood cells?? Simple.... there's no staining done.
And here's what happen when the blood cells "accidentially" got mixed with the immersion oil (for the microscope).
They undergo lysis.
