NEW YORK : Crude oil prices went on a record-setting surge Friday as fears of a new Middle East conflict were fanned by comments from a top Israeli official about Iran.
Analysts said the sharp price spike was a reaction to remarks by Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz, who is also transportation minister, reported by the Yediot Aharonot newspaper.
"If Iran continues its nuclear weapons programme, we will attack it," he told the daily, stressing that such an operation could only be conducted with US support.
After dropping, it went up to record high again!! Damm... And all because of one fellow commenting on something... One comment from a fellow can cause the oil to go record high!!!
And he's prob boasting to his friends right now... "See?? I just say a few sentences and this is what happen, told you so..."
