Hi, happened to stumble onto your blog. Interesting analogy there. More "bo liao" will be when some people actually pin China's year of trouble so far on the 5 Olympic mascots. Like the panda (Sichuan), the flame-shaped head where the Olympic torch had been constantly interrupted, the Tibetan Antelope (Tibet trouble), the kite motif (city in Shandong where train crash occurred).
Coincidence? Or just premonition? Maybe I'll muse about this. :-p
