There are so many kinds of internet networking stuffs around... The ones which you can't possibly lost contact and there it goes...
Unlike my case, which i lost contact with my primary school friends, from both primary schools, my secondary school friends... totally lost contact... And i bet i would not be able to recognise them when we met face to face, thought everyone recognise me...
Don't laugh... Everyone can recognise me.. Dunno why... Perhaps my face did not change over the years.. Maybe i look very old when i was young, or vice versa...
Okie.. So i got MSN, i got Friendster, I got wholivesnearyou, i got a blog with links, and now, i got facebook...

Happy birthday to Ant and CY

Yes... HDB void deck...
We were having a fun time there, while waiting for the VIP of the day to arrive..
AET was showing some magic tricks with the cards...
Then he did a little gig,
And the card turns out to be....
WOW!!!
And the VIP has not came yet.. so we started playing "big old two" (Dai dee) with a deck of cards and 6 players...
Yes... 6 players... and both of them were behaving suspiciously...
They had some discussion, looking at each other cards, and finally ended up,
Swopping cards!!! WTH!!!
VIP came... none other than... ANT!!!

Earthquake at China
One natural disaster after another...
Soon after the cyclone hit Myanmar, now, earthquake hit China... latest figure, 12,000 dead... Thousands still trapped...
Chances of survival decrease over time, and i hope that the rescuers can maximise their time to save the most.
And shocked again seeing the extend of damage over at the affected areas..
i now beseech my dear readers once again to take a minute of their time to pray for the poor souls, and pray those still trapped will be resuced out ASAP...

Horning inside hospital compound
Some Singapore drivers... Still need a lot to learn, even when had years and years of driving experience...
Went over to SGH (Singapore General Hospital) in the evening to visit a friend's mother, when on 3 seperate occasions, the baring of horns from vehicles on the road beside the building (inside the hospital area) jolted me up.
I still remember clearly that when i was reading the Basic Theory Handbook when i was learning driving, it was stated clearly that horning is not allowed in the hospital premises, so as not to disturb patients' resting.
But it was proven wrong. There are still some idiots who still blast their horns, just because some poor drivers in front are waiting for a chance to turn into a carpark.
And one of the incident involved quite a prolonged blasting of horn, by an well-dressed middle age male driving a BMW. And the horn is not stock horn... It's a modified horn...
Come on... be considerate... Patients are trying to rest, and to recover from their pain or whatever illness or injuries they had gotten, and here you are, blasting your bloody horn just because the traffic in front of you are delaying you for 30 seconds?
Well, drivers out there, when you read this, please do spare a though for others, and please do not horn in the hospital compound.

Antidote added
Just add on something to my ride...
VS plus grounding...
And now, the ride is smoother, respond time is faster, and when the gears change, you can barely detect it...
Shiok...
This is after taking out the air intake... never see my ride's engine to "naked" before... Usually it's covered by the air intake filter...
The grounding cables... those in silver colour... better than copper wires, which will oxidise and harden over heat and time... My new found knowledge.. The cover placed back over the engine...

My heart goes out to the affected, and hope that her rulers are wise enough to allow experts and aids from around the world to reach the poor suffering Myanmar survivors, who are (quoted) "desperate for shelter, food, water and medical care."

Talking about that RTA, i really don't know how to describle that Mr Lim, who is 45 years old, who works as a driver, drove for 24 years, STOP HIS RENTAL CAR AT THE FAST LANE OF A BUSY EXPRESSWAY TO INSERT HIS CASH CARD, that cause a woman biker to crash into another car, flung more than 20 meters, warded in the Intensive Care Unit, spend about a week in the hospital, and now still suffer from pain and memory loss...
And that Mr Lim can left out the reason for stopping the car in his police report, as he knew it's an offence!!!
To make matter worst, is that he still insist that he's not at fault for that accident, and smile several times as he recounted the accident on the stand (Courtroom)!!!
Worst still, Why is he driving a rental car? His car got involved in an accident just 2 days before that RTA that should not happen at all!! He stopped his car, causing another car to crash into him from behind... Really pity that poor fellow who crashed into him...
And when Mr Lim was contacted by The New Paper, he has the guts to question the reporter "Are you a driver? Have you driven a car before?"
The best part? Quoted : Mr Lim said that he felt sorry for the injured Miss Tiong, though he did not speak to her in court.
'She might think that I have an ulterior motive if I went up to her and apologised,' he said

Non 24/7 Seven Eleven store
When i say the word, 7-11, what's your first thinking??
Slurpee?? Big Gulp?? 24 hours convenience store??
Or even perhaps, doraemon magnets??
No matter what, 7-11 has become a part of our lives that we can go for some snacks and drinks when we are hungry in the middle of the night...
Or so i thought...
Imagine my horror when the 7-11 store was closed while waiting for my buddy's wife coach to reach from her trip to Malaysia. It was around 2.30am in the morning, and my buddy wants to buy some drinks...
Found the opening hours of that 7-11 store quite amusing... 7-11... opens from 7am till 11pm...
Thank god it's state 7am to 11pm, and not this....

Sat events part IV, the aftermath
Kinda having deep thoughts after a hectic but fun sat...
Couple of things happened, couple of people cried... All due to different reasons, but the emotions were basically the same.
Can't really describle what had happened on this blog, but i guess, it's a scene that will be hard to forget... Even under a fun and joyous occassion can trigger some emotional flashback and cause people to break down...
But it's good that they can cry it out, and not weigh it down further in the minds until one reaches a breaking point, be it physically, mentally or even physcology... Everyone needs a listening ear, but how many close brothers, buddies one has that can trust or have the patient to listen to one's frustrations and emotions?
I was reading this month's edition of NSman magazine, on a section, that allows you to sign up for a clubbing memberships that allows some benefits to some popular clubs and some people's review on that scheme...
One commented something like this..."it's (the membership) is good, and i got to know more people, and widen my social circle"...
Yes... you get to know more friends, but how many of those "friends" can you trust?
I always believe that really good friends like "brothers" and "buddies" no need a lot. A few will do, those few whom will listen to you, help you, goes thr thick and thin with you, and vice versa...
And i can glad i have quite a few, that can tolerate my stubborness, my temper, my rantings, my kp-ness...
Who needs to socialise when you have those kinda friends?
Thanks to all those brothers, buddies who has been around me that can tolerate me...

Sat events part III, the party
Yep... Sat is still not over...
The best part was the last!!
Went over to Cineleisure K box function room for a birthday celebration...
First time i been to the function room at K box...
It's "hugh", with projectors, a bar, a pool table, sofas and a stage...
It was kinda quiet at the beginning, with people eating, chatting and playing pool...
And soon, the cake cutting ceremony started...

Saw the "Tua Pao" that HL borrowed from the bar??
We was like telling HL..."you break it, you pay it"...
The "zhup ba lang" SJ peeps did some group singing performances.. Be it at the table,
Or at the back of the room...
Or at the stage...
We were havoc... or rather, we create havoc...

It was fun...
And characters started showing under such fun times...
Of course, got people singing...
Got some people play PSP...
Some started studying...
Some just sat there...
While there are others who wants to practice CPR skills...
And posing for photos at the same time...
So does the "casualty"...
It's a fun and tiring night, and by the time we got out of Cineleisure, the sun has came out, and my car was covered with bird shit. The whole carpark was empty, except for my car...
Been ages since it was that fun for me... Really makes my day...
And i slept the whole day on sunday...
