No work today.. On leave...

But yet, no rest for me...

Morning till mid afternoon, went over to NUS for the community first aid for the Nursing Students. Enjoyed myself there. They are fast learners. Enjoyable to teach them.

And i thought i can go home rest (sleep lah) after that. Afterall, it's been a super hot day. (And i mean HOT!)

Not so... DC called and off i went to West Coast Park for a duty. DC called after i had parked my car somemore!


It's been donkey years since i went to West Coast Park. Super donkey years.

A park. Seaside. Sunny day. Lots activities. VKP around. Other models around. With all these situations, how could i not whipped out my trusty canon camera to take photos??

So, here are the photos. Enjoy!

Somehow, it ain't look peaceful... So, i decided to focus on 2 groups of models for my camera.

How i wish my army platoon got one of those excavators during our upcoming reservist In-Camp Training.

Alright.. National day is over... Time to go back and work.

The weekend was tiring... Very tiring... Very super duper freaking tiring.

In fact, on sat morning itself, i was so tired that i have to put on an act...

Act busy...

And soon, the contingents came.. The last chance to take unglam photos of the participants from the SJ contingent. In actual fact, i only got the morning to do so.

I will be banished to the exile island for the rest of the day.

And soon, i was "sentenced" and banished to the exile island... National Stadium Carpark B. It's more exile than carpark F, more isolated, more desolated piece of tar on a isolated piece of land which hold a isolated stadium.

And it rained.

Heavily.

Dinner did taste a bit funny with rain water.

Turnout a couple of times, which may impressed the few passerbys, while i swear, the police forward command post personnal look on at us with amused.

The only good thing was that i was able to capture the heart, which from my views, is a very distorted one. Perhaps from the angle.



And the rest of the RSAF Black Knights display, which in my view, from a super far distance away, ain't very impressive.











I was bored. Damm it.. For this year's NDP, i ain't have a chance to go into the stadium somemore!!

Time for me to go home and sleep!!

I have been working for the past 12 hours and 35 minutes.

Have not done the graveyard shift for a super long time liao...

Worst thing... I cannot claim night shift allowance.

One by one, macham all the bad stuffs are taking queue number to pester me, to give me headaches, trying to overload me with all their goddamm nonsense.

And at a right time too... A time when i think i am really making me worthwhile...

And the queue starts forming...

I wonder what's going happen after that??

I must learn how to work in the dark.

Then i got urgent business to do, and ask them where's the toilet, and these are their response.
"The toilet's over there!!"

"where, i din see it..." i asked again...
"there lah, you idiot". was their response. Hahaha...

Nope.. i am letting my imagination run wild... i ain't looking for the toilet, it's jsut that they (the members) are having a moral boosting cum cheer session, so loud and high pitched that they almost burst my ear drums...

I am going to come for the actual day with ear plugs or ear mufflers this coming sat.

And the participants got a goodie bag... Inside, was a roll of paper towels,


Which came with some very cute and nice designs...


which vkp and me thought that the organisers had scared that the toilet paper in the loos ain't enough to cater for the all the participants at the holding area, thus the paper towels are a forsight for the marching contingents.

We couldn't be more wrong.

Started by spotting this lady... Doing something highly suspicious...


on a closer look,


I started turning my head and start to observe the contingent more closely...



It's seems like the paper towels are provided for WIPING THE BOOTS?!?!?!?!

And one person is just contented to play with it...
