Business trip to Malaysia

Back from Malaysia trip... Well, its only a one day business trip mah...

We reach the second link on a beautiful sunrise. And it's my first time on the second link. I keep hearing the second link from Viper, AF, and i wanted to go there myself to see.

Us, in a car... on the second link. It was so breath-taking, absoluting..... empty of vehicles...

The beautiful sunrise. Who says we cannot catch a beautiful sunrise in the West?

And once we reach Malaysia, the sence that enveloped us, reminds us of Genting. There's so much mist and haze. I do wonder what's that haze. Issit smoke or just some super low level clouds?

It's hazy only on certain parts of the road, and at other parts, its totally clear, and after some distance down, its hazy again. Does that happen everyday?

The journey is long. And here, i was sitting at the back seat, with nothing to do, no games to play, my concentration was on remembering our way, (so that i can go to Malaysia myself the next time), and the only entertainment that I've got was to hear the conversation between my boss and my maketing manager, and the music, and the only relief that i got was sleep.

Basically, i was dozing off, awake, dozing off till we nearly reach KL.

Made some calls to that company to get driving directions. We exit the N-S highway (i think) and went to a highway that will lead us to Ipoh. We were being instructed to follow that highway till we see our destination, Rawang (in Selangor), which is further up after KL.

Rawang, here i come!!!

So i became a navigator, all the way until we found that company. Not bad, considering that i only make a mistake and turned at a eariler junction on the small roads.

Meeting was brief, (about an hour and a half) and the director there brought us to lunch, after which we bid farewells and make the long, tiring trip back to Singapore.

Then i realised one thing. There are so much to see along the highways.

You'll see lots of trees, especially oil palms and rubber trees, and billboards. Large billboards with all kinds of advertisements.

You will see quite a number of hills and mountains, which is absolutely breathtaking.

And at certain parts, you see no trees. Just plain rocks. Rock climbing sport came to my mind when i see this fantestic rock wall.

Some parts of the highway actually reminds me of Singapore. Does that look like a HDB housing estate?

Know what's that?? Its a wind sock!!! Along the highway, not airport runway! Wind socks are used to determine the wind direction and the wind speed. Why do we need to know on a highway?

Enroute to Singapore, we stopped by You Peng town to visit the "famous" peanut shop. Selling all kinds of peanut products.

Yummy!! Bought some peanuts products and enjoying it!

On the streets, you get to see all kinfs of vehicles, including the bull dozer that the working is happily driving on the roads of You Peng.

One thing for sure. Even when you are not driving on a long long journey, you can be very tired of not doing anything. Its just that the journey shacks you out.

And if you are sure of where you are going, driving in Malaysia ain't so difficult afterall!
